The Burning Questions Everyone Wants To Ask...
50 Questions We're Getting Asked
General Questions About You Won’t Learn This at School

1. What is You Won’t Learn This at School?
We’re an education service offering workshops and 1-on-1 sessions that cover the essential topics schools often skip, like sex education, relationships, consent, and emotional intelligence. We focus on providing honest, practical, and uncensored information for teens and young adults.

2. Who is your service for?
We cater to teens, young adults, and individuals with disabilities who need tailored, real-world education about relationships and sexuality. Parents and carers are also welcome to engage with us for support and guidance.
3. Why do you focus on the topics schools don’t teach?
Schools often shy away from giving sex and relationship education the depth it deserves—whether it’s because of packed curriculums, fear of controversy, or outdated methods. That leaves a massive gap, and let’s face it, kids are left scrambling to fill it. First, they turn to teachers who might not have the tools or freedom to provide real answers. Then comes social media, a chaotic minefield of half-truths, misinformation, and harmful trends. And when that doesn’t cut it? They end up turning to porn, which is about as educational as a Hollywood action movie on police tactics. The result? Misconceptions that can shape their views on sex and relationships for life. We’re here to step in with education that’s honest, practical, and free from all the noise.

4. Will your services be accessible through NDIS?
Yes! We’re in the process of becoming a registered NDIS provider which will mean we are accessible through NDIS funding, as well as private funding options, to make our services as inclusive and accessible as possible.

5. What makes you different from traditional sex ed?

We’re all about going beyond the bare minimum to tackle the real-life situations and questions teens are actually dealing with today. Our approach? Inclusive, engaging, and totally free of judgment or awkwardness. We blend up-to-date, research-backed info with cutting-edge teaching methods, all wrapped up in a healthy dose of relatable humor. The result? Learning that’s a lot more fun, way less cringe, and genuinely useful in the real world.

17. What qualifications do your educators have?
All our educators are certified pros in sex education, relationships, and working with individuals with disabilities. Jordan, our lead educator, brings the A-game with a Masters of Teaching, 7 years experience working with Special Needs teens, specialised training from SECCA and various other training providers, and to top that off, is currently wrapping up his Masters of Sexology from Curtin University.

18. Do you have a code of conduct for workshops?
Absolutely! Participants are expected to engage respectfully. Disruptive or harmful behaviour is not tolerated. Our policies can be found via the policies tab in the menu.

19. Can parents or carers sit in on workshops?
For younger participants or those with disabilities, parents are welcome to observe. For older teens, we encourage independence but keep parents informed.
20. What’s your policy on discussing sensitive topics?

Let’s be real—this company exists to dive headfirst into those awkward, sensitive topics that no one wants to touch but everyone needs to understand for healthy sex and relationships. Yes, we tackle the tough stuff, and we’ll go as deep as our participants are ready for. Our philosophy? If we don’t answer these questions with expert knowledge, they’ll turn to the dark corners of the internet for answers—and trust us, that’s a recipe for disaster. We handle every topic with care, honesty, and age-appropriate discussions, making sure no one feels uncomfortable or left out.
Questions About Teaching Methods and Philosophies

21. What’s your teaching philosophy?
We believe education should be honest, inclusive, and empowering. Our approach encourages curiosity, respect, and critical thinking.

22. How do you handle questions about controversial topics?
No topic is off-limits. We address controversial issues with evidence-based information and encourage open, respectful dialogue.

23. How do you make learning engaging?
We use humour, interactive activities, real-world scenarios, and open discussion to make sessions relatable and enjoyable.

24. Do you teach abstinence-only education?
Absolutely not! While we discuss the benefits of waiting until ready, our approach is comprehensive and focuses on informed decision-making.

25. How do you address cultural or religious beliefs?
We respect all cultural and religious perspectives, ensuring our sessions are inclusive and adaptable.
Sex Education Myths and Misconceptions

26. Does talking about sex make teens want to do it more?
No. Research shows that comprehensive sex ed actually delays sexual activity, reduces teen pregnancy and STI rates and promotes safer sex practices.
27. Is porn an effective way to learn about sex?
Nope, absolutely not. Porn is entertainment, not education. It totally misrepresents consent, communication, and healthy relationships. Comparing porn to real life is like comparing your favorite Marvel hero to your local dad-bod gym hero—completely different universes!
28. Do teens already know everything about sex from the internet?
Not at all. The internet is full of misinformation, and teens need guidance to separate fact from fiction.

29. Do you teach explicit material?
We teach age-appropriate, factual information. Nothing we cover is explicit or designed to shock—it’s all about education.
30. Isn’t sex ed just common sense?
If only! Many adults wish they’d learned more about relationships, consent, and communication when they were younger.
